a. Use lemon oil and polish the cabinet frequently, but DO NOT apply lemon oil to the stylus, reproducer.
b. Using lithium grease/vaseline and sewing machine oil, lubricate the motor (all gears and moving parts), and apply the oil to the tubes located underneath the turntable (simply remove the reproducer by turning the ring lock counterclockwise and pull the reproducer straight out, and then pull the turntable straight up to remove it) and the speed regulator/governor assembly. This should be done about once a year.
c. Keep your phonograph away from direct sunlight (to prevent fading of the cabinet finish) and keep it away from damp or excessively hot areas (storing your phonograph in the kitchen is not a good idea for this reason!)
